Planning for the Future
Attached are drafts of the Regional District’s Transportation Master Plan and the information on Okanagan Gateway Transportation Study. These plans are part of the Province’s larger Central Okanagan Planning Study.
These draft plans will define future projects, programs and policies that will affect us. In particular, the Okanagan Gateway Transportation Study specifically focuses on the vision for the airport, university and surrounding area – including Quail Ridge – and has been coordinated with, and informs, the Regional Transportation Plan.
A final version is expected to be presented to each of the Sustainable Transportation Partnership of the Central Okanagan (STPCO) partner Councils this fall. The STPCO is a formal partnership of the City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, Districts of Lake Country and Peachland, Westbank First Nation and the Regional District of Central Okanagan.
Okanagan Golf Club Dinner Specials
